NGO Darpan is a platform developed and managed by NITI Aayog in partnership with the National Informatics Centre (NIC). It serves as a unified interface for NGOs to register themselves and provide essential information about their activities, structure, and areas of operation.

Eligibility Criteria
To register on NGO Darpan, an organization must strictly meet these four criteria:
- 1Legal StatusMust be registered as a Society, Trust, or Section 8 Company.
- 2Valid PAN CardThe NGO must possess a valid Permanent Account Number.
- 3Operational StatusMust be actively engaged in charitable activities aligning with its objectives.
- 4Compliance with LawsMust comply with all applicable local regulations and filings.

Documents Required
Prepare the following documents before initiating the application process:
- Certified copy of Trust Deed / Society Registration Certificate / Sec 8 Incorporation Certificate
- Copy of the PAN Card of the Organization
- PAN, Aadhaar, Email, and Mobile number of Chief Functionary / Chairman
- PAN and Aadhaar copies of all governing members / trustees
- Detailed note on activities done so far and proposed future operations
